What to Back Up

• Source media folders and project selects should follow your normal backup policy.
• Keep FinDIT index-related metadata snapshots for active productions.
• Store export artifacts and handoff files in a versioned project location.

Restore Playbook

• Mount replacement drive first, then validate folder path consistency.
• Re-open FinDIT library and let it reconcile portable indexes before re-indexing.
• Run a known query set to verify result quality after restoration.
